Shifting Perspectives 2011

In 2003, a group of local photographers who all had children with Down's syndrome got together and created a small exhibition for Down's Syndrome Awareness Week. In 2005 the Shifting Perspectives collective in conjunction with the Down's Syndrome Association exhibited at the gallery@OXO, on London's South Bank for the first time. The exhibition was a huge success and marked the beginning of a successful series of exhibitions.

Shifting Perspective is now in its seventh year and with each year the exhibition gets bigger and better as it is now shown internationally. This continued growth has been made possible by the very generous support of GlaxoSmithKline.

This years exhibition at the Oxo Tower runs from the 16th to 27th March and includes the work of photographers, Richard Bailey, Fiona Yaron-Field, Emer Gillespie, Kayte Brimacombe, Paul Tom and Fiona Bailey

Please come and have a look, you will be inspired by the images on show.
